About Me

I decided to get into Econonomics because due to the special place numbers have had in my life. My father was a Commoditiy Futures trader and member at the Chicago Board of Trade from 1986-2016 and my mother was in Capital Markets/Fixed Income Sales at Bank of Montreal from 1989-2009 and has been in Fixed Income Sales at JP Morgan Securities since 2009. I have always admired my parents so naturally, math has always been a favorite subject of mine. As a former varsity baseball player the real world application of numbers was important in my adolescence as well.

So far in my academic career I have amassed a 3.625 GPA while attending Scottsdale Community College in the Spring and Fall of 2017 and a 3.2 GPA during my time at Arizona State University from Spring 2018 to the present. I am expecting to graduate in the Spring of 2020.

In my free time, I enjoy participating in men’s league basketball and softball. Since I relocated to Scottsdale, I have also developed a love for the game of golf. My skills are a bit lackluster but the desire to improve is there. I am very dedicated to my physical fitness and try to work out 5-6 times a week. I train weights, cardio, and try to squeeze in a 2 mile swim twice a week.

Outside of my daily activities, I am extremely passionate about Chicago sports (with the exception of the White Sox). I consider myself a very knowledgable and devoted fan of the NBA and NFL. I am also a bit of a film fanatic with an affinity for critically acclaimed films of the 1990’s and early 2000’s. On the lighter side, I was a huge fan of the 90’s cast of Saturday Night Live(if you are reading this and have time please look up Columbian De-caffeinated Coffee Crystals Sketch with Chris Farley- I promise you will not regret it).
